Recommendation

To Whom It May Concern,

I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Nathan Scott, an undergraduate student in our program. Nathan is currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science at Washington State University (WSU).
I know Nathan since January 2017. In Spring 2017, he took my Programming Language Design course at WSU. In this course he was within the top 50% of the class. I was overall satisfied with the quality of his work in the assignments and projects. He is an independent self-learner, however he knows when to get help and is never shy to ask questions.
Nathan is highly involved with several student organizations. Unlike students who join many student organizations but have minimal involvement, Nathan actually devotes his time and skills for initiatives and activities he believes in. Recently, together with his friends he founded the “Cougs in Cyberspace” student club which aims to unify the engineers and programmers who are interested in Internet of Thing (IoT) technologies.
At a personal level, Nathan is a delight to work with. He is mature, independent, and resourceful, knowing when and where to seek advice and help. I support his application for the internship position with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Scholars Program.
